manish aroraHere is part 2 of the India Fashion Week post, as promised. There were so many incredible shows this year that it’s hard to pick just one. I will admit that Manish Arora *gasp!*) was not my favorite. As much as I love Manish, I think his circus theme, although highly entertaining and true to his eccentric style, was a bit campy. I was hoping for more psychedelic and less clown-like.

At the top of my list is Prashant Verma, what an amazing journey into the future! Prashant formerly worked for McQueen, Galliano and Manish Arora, and launched his own label in 2006. His use of metallics, intricate prints and cyborg detail, make his clothes cool and futuristic, while still being wearable.

Have a favorite? 🙂

Love All Around,
Cara Mia

So lovely to see all these photos from India Fashion Week! 😀 And did Manish Arora show his collection at another fashion week? I could have sworn I’ve seen these looks before, but I know they weren’t from India Fashion Week… if not then he and some other designer and seriously similiar collections!

    Great post! 🙂
